At its General Assembly meeting held on 10 April 2014, The European Electrical Product Certification Organization (EEPCA) on a proposal from the Board, has appointed Mr Pierre de Ruvo, a French national, as the General Secretary of EEPCA. 

Here below the statement made by Valberto Baggio, EEPCA President.   

“Pierre de Ruvo in his previous job, during 14 years, has held the position as Executive Secretary and Chief Operating Officer of the IECEE, the IEC Worldwide conformity assessment System of Electrotechnical Products and components.

He brings to EEPCA more than 30 years of technical, administrative and management experience in Conformity Assessment overseeing technical, financial and administrative aspects of development projects at a global level.

He has a proven track record of leading project management, business management, international negotiations, strategic management and administrative systems.

Pierre de RUVO is an accomplished manager, communicator and technical specialist with experience working with Governmental Authorities, Stakeholders, Retailers, Buyers and Vendors as well as program and technical staff. He speaks fluent English and Italian, and holds an Engineering degree in Electronics.

Pierre de RUVO will oversee and drive technical, financial and management delivery of EEPCA and the associated schemes ENEC, ENEC+, CCA and HAR.
