HAR Group

Terms of Reference

The HAR system is the earliest agreement proposing a common marking for the specific product category cables complying with harmonised European specifications.

The HAR Group is constituted by those certification bodies who have signed the HAR Agreement.

Matters of principle concerning the operation of the HAR Agreement are laid down and made available by the HAR Group in “Permanent Documents” (PDs).

The HAR Group meets at least once a year to make decisions. In between meetings the group may take decisions by Postal Vote.
